CTT celebrates this Wednesday, October 2, the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's birth by issuing khadi stamps, the handcrafted natural fiber fabric that Mahatma Gandhi spun in her charkha and wore for dressing. Portugal and India are the only countries in the world that have decided to use this type of material in stamp printing.
The launch ceremony for the philatelic broadcast will take place on October 2, Wednesday, and will take place at the Hindu Community Complex of Lisbon, - Alameda Mahatma Gandhi - at 7.30 pm.

With this philatelic broadcast, CTT not only wants to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Gandhi's birth, but also wants their messages and words to continue to be remembered in order to make the world better, as Gandhi has always advocated.
