CTT – Correios de Portugal, in partnership with Canal Panda, launched a collection of personalized stamps to mark the 2024 Olympic Games, which will take place in the French capital, Paris.

The collection consists of a booklet of 18 stamps.  Each of the stamps, amusingly, alludes to a sport: Handball, Football, Weightlifting, Surfing, Rings, 100 metres, Volleyball, Show Jumping, Cycling, Floor, Sailing, Pommel Horse, Rowing, Judo, Long Jump, Table Tennis, Hammer Throw and Swimming.

In this collection, Panda and his Friends set out to win medals, the theme of the Panda Festival 2024, with Panda playing football, Crocas practicing weightlifting, Kinkas playing handball and Micas practicing surfing.

During this summer of Olympic Games, Canal Panda embraces Olympic and Paralympic sport, with the Panda 2024 Festival, dedicated to the theme, available from July 24th exclusively on Panda+, the streaming platform dedicated to younger viewers, and with the Panda Sport program, which premieres on Canal Panda on the opening day of the Games, in which Portuguese Olympic and Paralympic athletes explain to Panda what it is like to represent Portugal at the highest level.

The Panda Festival 2024 has the official support of the Portuguese Olympic Committee.

The Olympic Games, the world's biggest sporting competition, start on July 26 and run until August 11.

Karim Aga Khan nasceu a 13 de dezembro de 1936, em Genebra, e vai estar em Lisboa até ao dia 12 para o encerramento das celebrações do jubileu de diamante, isto é, os seus 60 anos na liderança dos Ismailis. É o terceiro Aga Khan a liderar a comunidade. O título foi atribuído pelo Xá da Pérsia por volta de 1830.O líder dos ismaelitas tinha 20 anos quando tudo começou em 1957. O avô, Aga Khan III, deixou em testamento a indicação de que seria o neto o 49.º imam. "Face às recentes mudanças do mundo, estou convencido que é do melhor interesse da Comunidade Ismaelita que me suceda um homem jovem que tenha sido educado e desenvolvido em anos recentes e no seio da nova era, e que traga uma nova visão sobre a vida e o cargo de Imam"

Karim Aga Khan est né le 13 décembre 1936 à Genève et restera à Lisbonne jusqu'au 12 pour la clôture des célébrations du jubilé de diamant, c'est-à-dire ses 60 ans à la tête des Ismailis. C'est le troisième Aga Khan à diriger la communauté. Le titre a été attribué par le Shah de Perse vers 1830. Le chef des Ismaélites avait 20 ans lorsque tout commença en 1957. Son grand-père, Aga Khan III, laissa dans le testament l'indication qu'il s'agirait du 49ème imam. "Face aux récents changements survenus dans le monde, je suis convaincu qu'il est dans l'intérêt de la communauté ismaélite de me succéder comme un jeune homme éduqué et développé ces dernières années et dans le nouvel âge et qui apporte une nouvelle vision de la vie et de la société"

Joana Vasconcelos nasceu em 1971. Vive e trabalha em Lisboa. Expõe regularmente desde meados da década de 1990. O reconhecimento internacional do seu trabalho deu-se com a participação na 51.ª Bienal de Veneza, em 2005, com a obra A Noiva (2001-05). Foi a primeira mulher e a mais jovem artista a expor no Palácio de Versalhes, em 2012. Outros momentos relevantes da sua carreira incluem a individual no Museu Guggenheim Bilbao (2018); o projeto Trafaria Praia, para o Pavilhão de Portugal na 55.ª Bienal de Veneza (2013); a participação na coletiva The World Belongs to You, no Palazzo Grassi/François Pinault Foundation (2011); e a sua primeira retrospetiva, apresentada no Museu Coleção Berardo, em Lisboa (2010).
