Postmark: Madrid, Special Commemorative Postmark (Lobulated) – Feria Nacional del Libro, dated June 8, 1953.

Concordance

Thematic: Superior. The concordance goes beyond the visual portrait. As Quevedo is one of the greatest exponents of Castilian literature, using his stamp with a "National Book Fair" postmark creates a profound intellectual link between the author and the celebration of his legacy: the book.
Geographic: Absolute. The event took place in Madrid, Quevedo's birthplace and the epicenter of Spanish literary life. The location of the postmark coincides both with the commemorative event and the author's biography.
Temporal: Specialized. Although the stamp was issued in 1948, its use in 1953 is justified by its postal validity and, primarily, by the significance of the event. The June 8, 1953 date falls within the fair's period, making the piece a historical witness to that specific literary gathering.
